LITTLE ARMENIA—Amazing, talented, and inspiring Pilibos students took part in an unprecedented event at Rose & Alex Pilibos Armenian School in Little Armenia, Los Angeles. Students from K-12th grades joined together for an all-day sing-a-thon organized to raise awareness about the difficult situation in Syria.

Students came together to show their unity as a school, as a community, and as a people as they participated in the all-day sing-a-thon “Unity through Music.” All day, the music did not stop at Pilibos. Pilibos was also blessed to have the Prelate of the Western Prelacy, His Eminence Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian and His Eminence Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian, Prelate of Aleppo, visiting the School.

They spoke about the situation and conditions in Syria today, focusing on the difficulties for students and schoolsStudents also showed their support through donations for the students struggling in Syria every day.

“We are always proud of our students and their active roles in our school and community. Today was a day like no other here at Pilibos, or any other academic institution!” a statement from the Pilibos faculty said.
