I've seen a lot of seperate topics on specific news or the ROA National team, but I could'nt find one soley dedicated to all of the sport. So I thought, hey, lets get one rolling! Post any major news, reviews, predictions and etc., you can even talk about your favorite clubs and teams. Whatever you want!

Let's talk "Football". smile.gif

Sorry Edward, thats who I meant. Could'nt spell without reference. What was his nickname, the black jaguar??

Anyways the German side was Bayern Munchen (Munich) and I believe the results were 2-0 for Bayern and 1-0 for Ararat. I know they won the second leg.
(wow thats still heavy today smile.gif )

I see your point. I guess I didn't want Amerigahyes to get confused. it's more specific.

Anyways, I will say the French man was Michele Platinni.

And about Eusebio: he was'nt the only one to play on two national squads.

The Argentine born great (who is considered by some the best all around player ever) Alfredo "the blond arrow" Di Stefano played on not 2 but 3 NATIONAL TEAMS before retirement. . They were Argentina, Columbia and Spain, respectively.Yet interestingley enough, he never played a single World Cup match.

He is also one of the most decorated players of Real Madrid's history. David Beckham's #23 jersey was chsen as a tribute to his achievements.
