PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the construction site of the We and our Mountains Monument - one of the main symbols of Artsakh, to familiarize himself with the course of renovation activities conducted.

During his visit, the President stressed the importance of preserving the objects of national significance, noting that the well-maintained and comfortable area would serve as an attraction for Artsakh citizens as well as guests and tourists.

President Sahakyan further gave instructions for proper implementation of the final stage of renovation activities.

National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghulyan, minister of municipal engineering Karen Shahramanyan, mayor of Stepanakert Suren Grigoryan and other officials accompanied the President during his visit, the Central Information Department at Artsakh Preisdnet's Office reported.

Turkish journalist advertises Armenia

Turkish journalist Serdar Korucu, who is known for his numerous publications about Armenia, posted an article and a photoshoot about Armenia on a foreign website.

In his publication, Korucu complimented the country sightseeing.  At the same time he noted that the lack of diplomatic relations with Yerevan is not so important for visits to Armenia.

Serdar Korucu’s Facebook profile picture is a photo of “We and Our Mountains” monument in Karabakh.
