Would anyone know how to transfer money from one bank account to another, internationally? The only way I found so far is through my bank, but they charge $50!!!! That's just insane! PayPal is not an option.

I'm assuming the $50 fee is for a wire transfer..that's one option.
Some banks have international remittence(sp?) accounts...where you would open an account here and the other party would open up an account in a bank who is also part of that system, and you would just make a deposit here and they could w/d it there...the fee is $10 a transaction I believe.

Thanks guys. Actually any way you look at it, doing a money transfer from one account to another is still too expensive. I think that sending a money order or wiring money through Western Union comes out to be the best option.

Maral, recently I was given a gift of a dried pomegranate from Armenia. It's in a little pocket of an armenian rug. It rattles when you shake it. Just thought I would share something that was inspired by your juicy avatar. Love me some pomegranate seeds sprinkled with sugaaa. Ummm ummm!
