PanARMENIAN.Net - Anahit animation film, based on beloved folklorist Ghazaros Aghayans fairytale, will premiere in early December, the film co-author told
According to David Sahakyants, with film production mostly finalized, the animation will be shown in cinemas during a month, to be followed by a festival tour.
We received an invitation to participate in Toronto Festival, yet had to refuse because of timing: the festival is due in November, while the film will debut in December, Sahakyants, who didnt rule out participation next year, said

Vachakan was the only son of King Vache ** and queen Ashkhen.
Vachakan, as a youth, to much consternations of his parents wishes was an introverted bookworm, who insisted to become a monk and live in isolation.. Untilhe meets and falls in love with Anahit, a peasant cattle ranchers daughter and voila He becomes a valiant prince, and eventually the wise, benevolent and fearless King.. Another principal actor is Vaghinak, his foster brother, best friend, wise counsel and fearless guardian.

There is not much about the name Vaghinak, his trusted friend, aide and protector.
Remember that Aznavours birth name was Vaghinak Aznavourian.
