Komitas Memorial Plaque Planned for Berlin University
12:39, July 23, 2012A memorial plaque dedicated to Komitas will be affixed to the wall of Berlin University noting that the famed Armenian musicologist and ethnographer studied there from 1896-1899.
The RA Ministry of Culture launched a competition for designing the plaque which was won by Nara Mendelyan.
The 40 x 70 centimetre bronze plaque is scheduled for unveiling sometime in early September.
