Maybe would've been different if the game was held in England even though the match was between two English clubs.
Great match, a classic. I thought it was over for sure when Terry was gonna shoot the last penalty kick...wow.

Mine was in 1974, At Hrazdan Stadium where Ararat defeated Bayern Munich in 1/4 final of European Cup.(Ararat did not make it on aggregate, lost 2 to 1)
The moment was when Andreasyan scored the header. Everything erupted around me(7 years old). It was like an Armenian Armageddon.
What was yours?

"
German supporters cite the possible bias of the Soviet linesman (Bakhramov was from Azerbaijan), especially as the USSR had just been defeated in the semi-finals by West Germany. Bakhramov later stated in his memoirs that he believed the ball had bounced back not from the crossbar, but from the net and that he was not able to observe the rest of the scene, so it did not matter where the ball hit the ground anyway. When Tofik Bakhramov was asked on his deathbed how could he be sure the 3rd goal had crossed the line, he was alleged to have replied 'Stalingrad' [4]. Swiss referee Gottfried Dienst, otherwise regarded as the best referee, did not see the scene."
ha ha. I love the word Stalingrad..lol
