THE PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA CONGRATULATED VLADIMIR PUTIN ON THE NATIONAL HOLIDAY
OF RUSSIA

12.06.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Today the president of Armenia Robert Kocharian sent a message of
congratulation to the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Russian nation on the
occasion of the celebration of the Day of Adoption of Declaration about the State Sovereignty of the
Russian Federation.
As was informed to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the president of the country, in the message of
Robert Kocharian it was particularly said:
"I am sure that the friendship of the Armenian and Russian people, which has been formed historically and
has undergone an ordeal by time, the relations of mutual trust and strategic partnership will be henceforth
developed and strengthened for peace and stability, for welfare of our two nations". Taking the opportunity,
the president of Armenia wished Vladimir Putin "good health, well-being and future achievements in the
multilateral and productive activity for victory of democracy and ideas of justice". As for the Russian
people, Robert Kocharian wished them "peace, happiness and prosperity". -0-
