Հա, լան Հովան ակա, (imitating the Bourj Hammoud/Adana vernacular, not, by all means the Aleppo one) հայդէ երթանք:
Or,is it Յայթէ Յովան!?
Հայ տէ
Ամօթ ինձ!
Հայ թէ Թուրք?
Why is it that the Armenian word “to go” is “erthal/երթալ” and the past tense is գնացի/ գացի, not երթացի?
Coming to Ha/Ayo,. Yes, our teachers would slap our fingers to not say “ha”, just as they would slap our fingers to not pronounce “esh” as in “ash” but like in “eschew”. Ajarian may easily be declared a saint in the likes of Mashtots, but, as indicated in many posts of mine one must not forget that he was born in Turkland/Istanbul and perhaps his first words were uttered in Turkish, that is his “ana lisan/mother tongue/Mayreni Lezou“ was Turkish. Even if he has vindictively atoned that sin, earned a place of honor in the Pntheon next to Mesrop, one cannot help but see that he did not completely repent. When one looks up the very short and succinct monograph of “HA” in the Armatakan, it says very little except that it “may be from the Turkish “HE/Yes”, and proceeds to refer us to the monograph of “AYO”. I will spares us what is said in that monograph of “ayo” . What if we spell “ha” as “ya/ja/ՅԱ”. Ja wohl mein kapitan! Aye, aye Sir/YES Sir/Ma’am”
Our “teachers” are so terrorized by the Turk to once and for all reject everything and every sound that became to be known as Turkish. Allow me to once again bring the example of “ereko/երեկո” to mean “evening”, yet which in declension turns into “irikun/իրիկուն”. Is it not proof enough that at one time the word would have been spelled “էրէկո”, i.e Է to sound like the A as in “add “ or “every? The sound can still to this day be heard in gavarabarbars like the Musa Ler and Marash.
Yes. Ajarian is a saint, he deserves to be placed in the Pantheon, with full honors, next to Mashtots. But have we not learned more since? Who will be the next Ajarian, with all due respects to rid us of our Ottoman heritage. Not to forget the need of a new and improved Khorenatsi to rid us of the influence of our newly discovered, “new and improved” culture of Abraham, NOAH, David and Moses/Movses**. Look what is being discovered about our Pre-Christian, pre-Khorenatsi culture (We will come to that under separate items??
** When did Moses/Musa/ Mousa//Movses become an Armenian name?
Hi MosJan Movsesian, our fearless leader!
My name is Mihran Mihranian Just so we stick to the M. In fact, my name is Aramazd Azatian. No, no it is Vahag Vahramian:).
