Let others speak in the name of Truth, God and Country.
I speak in the name of common sense and decency, and if that’s not good enough for some of my readers, I say, that’s not my problem but theirs.
Let them wait all they want for an Armenian Socrates, Christ, Gandhi or Solzhenitsyn to appear among us and as they wait let them meditate on what happened to the Greeks, Jews, Indians and Russians…
After the Athenians condemned Socrates to death,
the Athenian Empire collapsed never to rise again.
Christ did not save the Jews;
if anything, he condemned them to two thousand years of persecution.
Immediately after Gandhi’s India declared independence,
millions of Indians massacred one another in an orgy of violence.
Solzhenitsyn exposed the satanic evils of Stalinism
but there are many Russians today (also Armenians in Armenia)
who miss the good old days under Stalin.
A thousand philosophers, messiahs, prophets, and dissidents
cannot save a single human being who has made up his mind to destroy himself
or save a nation that is on its way to the devil.

What's your point? Are you a war-time reporter? Like you're trying to capture the time for future generations. What a useless job for a writer! Besides you put your own interpretation, which is mostly subjective, than objectve.
Hoo, Hoo! Dear fellow writer! Or whatever you can be called by your own ego! I like some of your ideas. But if you want to be listened, try to listen as well.

Solzhenitsyn said recently that the death penalty should be restored in Russia. Heh! What a shocker, for his funs and followers! Because Russia passes through tough time and the penalty in some cases can be a solution.
Victim of GOULAG, who didn't get anything out of why he was there. He was just a witness. He taped, he wrote about GOULAG. But he is not a thinker! He is a typist. We need them desperately. But we do not have to trust them, as if we were trusting a visionary, or more ... an oracle!
