Any chance you can backup your claim? I know a couple of members from the group and the producer. The producer doesnt even know Russian and I doubt he watches Russian films to steal music but in any case I'm just curious to hear some proof.

That is Sergei Shnurovs music that they took. The movie came out in 2002 and the composer of all the songs in the movie was Sergei Shnurov.

If this is yet please show me a link to the song which you say Qami Pchi stole the beats from. I spoke to the producer of the song today and he said he's never seen any Russian movies.

Proud EXPAT, it's jealousy, like you said before.
Some Armenians just can't be happy to see a successful song in their own country and have to twist things around so much to suggest that the producers stole it from some obscure Russian film. That's sad.

It's very sad that we can't be more supportive of one another. But I'm still trying to deal with this claim in a civilized manner. If it can be proven that it was stolen I will accept it, but in the meantime I'm waiting for some proof. Nevertheless the originality of the song in the Armenian scene has brought out so much jealousy in so many Armenian when they should have been celebrating because some new kids broke the ice and decided to come through the cracks of a very sad and boring music scene.

I dont know what you are talking about Ive seen Bumer over 60 times and no song sounds even similar to Qami Pchi.... and CHORNIY BUMER doesn't either.... heres the original soundtrack if you need to you can preview it and try to actually find a song thats similar (which you wont)

the song may not be the best song in the world, but give them props.. they are doing something while we are talking about them on hye forum. major props 2 them.

the day russian influence in armenian music will be removed or at least be TRIED to remove just like everyone is trying to remove arabic or turkish influence, that day......will be glory...
it's ironic, even though i don't agree with everything stepan partamian says, it is very true that armenians have so much wealth in everything, be it language or culture or wtvr, but we still like to use others' creations for our own pleasure...its becoming disgusting, and i particularly emphasize on the russian influence in armenian music which disgusts me more than turkish or arabic influence, because everyone knows about it but no one says anything,...heck armenian record companies are producing russian cds and dvds...
its like israel bombing lebanon and the world shutting their eyes lol
