Navy Admirals Isakov and Serebriakov

During World War 2 USSR, had Admiral Isakov in the head of Baltic navy forces.

(Isakov-Isaakian)

I don't remember exactly when and where lived Admiral Serebriakov but it was a russian admiral (I was told that his real name was Artsatgortsian)

There was olso one Armenian general from German side. His surname was Gulderian or something like this. He commanded German army during invasion on Poland.
I thing then he was killed be Hitler.

His name was Hans Guderian, but he was not Armenian. This is the general credited with creating the blitzkrieg tactic.

How do you know that he wasn't Armenian?
I've been olways thought that he was.
And this ian and his surname is not German at all.

Dear Taguhi,

There are a lot of last names ending with "ian," which have nothing to do with Armenians.

If to judg by that measure, everybody in the US is Armenian.

Yes, you can only tell Armenians from non-Armenians in the US when people use hello instead .

Taguhi we've discussed about Guderian before. Try to search by is name. If I'm not mistaken he was a son of austrian general.
