Armenian military death toll reaches 4 in unprovoked Azeri cross-border gunfire

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. The death toll in the Armenian military in the unprovoked Azerbaijani attack has reached 4, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement Friday.

 

1 soldier is wounded.

Armenian border outposts in the Gegharkunik Province came under heavy Azeri cross-border gunfire Friday morning.  In addition to firing small arms, the Azerbaijani military deployed UAVs and mortars in the shelling.

Armenian border outposts in Gegharkunik province again hit by Azeri gunfire

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Armenian military positions near the village of Kutakan in Gegharkunik province came under Azerbaijani gunfire in the early hours of Sunday, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia said in a statement.

 

The Azeri forces used small arms in the shooting.

Surveillance footage shows Azerbaijan amassing heavy military equipment in Nagorno- Karabakh line of contact

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) authorities on Tuesday released a video showing the Azerbaijani military moving heavy equipment, including artillery systems, to the line of contact.

In a statement, the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Defense said the Azeri forces are amassing large numbers of military hardware.

It warned that Azerbaijan is preparing its next provocation, given also the ongoing disinformation campaign generated by the Azerbaijani defense ministry.

Azerbaijani military opens cross-border fire targeting vehicle carrying food to Armenian troops

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 2, ARMENPRESS. The Azerbaijani military opened cross-border gunfire on October 2 at a supply vehicle carrying food for Armenian troops at an outpost, the Ministry of Defense has said.

“On October 2, at around 2:25 p.m., Armed Forces units of Azerbaijan discharged fire from small arms targeting a vehicle carrying food for the personnel of the Armenian combat outposts in the vicinity of Kut,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

It said additional information on the shooting would be provided.

Azerbaijani military again fires at Armenian food supply vehicle

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The Azerbaijani military has once again targeted an Armenian food supply vehicle en route to a border outpost, the Armenian Ministry of Defense said Thursday.

“On October 5, at around 1:50 p.m., armed forces units of Azerbaijan discharged fire at a vehicle transporting provisions for the personnel stationed at Armenian combat outposts near Norabak (Gegharkunik Province). There are no casualties,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
