We know there is a French word, puree.
Սա որեւէ կապ ունի՞, վրաց պուրի/հաց բառի հետ:
Լաւ ուրեմն. խաչահաց:

Խաչապուրի ?
This is the first I hear about it.
I still don't know what it is, except that, in Armenian culture the dough/khmor would be be impressed with the edge of the hand to make the sign of the cross.
Could it be that it is a corruption of “khashapour/խաշապուր” ?
Of course, we know that ապուր is also seen in ապրուստ from ապրիլ to live , livelihood, sustenance. It can be found in other languages such as the Arabic/Persian “ash” to also mean soup just as also means “life/living”.
As it was indicated above that this form of the word seems to be the Georgian/Vratsakan variant , it is obvious that the Georgians seem to have a fascination with the “I” ending. Consider Tbilisi, Batumi, Akhalkalaki, Saakashvili etc. They may have taken many Armenian words and added that “I” to make it sound like their own, as “kalaki” to the Armenian? “qaghaq/city”

Hmmm.... Could that be the reason as to why he gave our Artsax and Naxichevan to the turks? That's it then. That's the reason. Because I have heard that the Jews in the turkish region were very envious of the Armenians as they were majority in their land in the Eastern part of Armenia, and because Armenians are entrepreuneurs, a great deal of them around the Ankara and Smirna regions were very very wealthy. The fact that jews are money hungrey race; they didn't care for it at all.

No Anahid, I am not saying that. As indicated above I came across it by accident and upon further reading it became more and more ridiculous. The site does not make it a secret they are a hate group. However, as you can see this is not the proper thread to go on a tangential. In fact, I will go back and edit my post and remove that paragraph.
