The stupid Rundll32 loads this crappy spyware dll module that I can't get rid of. Does anyone know how I can remove .dll module or prevent Rundll32 from loading it? I tried uninstalling/unregistering .dll through cmd, but it doesn't seem to work, instead it just loads it. I tried running spybot, but it doesn't remove it thoroughly, I tried cleaning the registry (Run) but it keeps coming back like a diseased troll!!!! So I need to tell that freaking Rundll32 TO STOP LOADING THE DAMN MODULE, OR I WILL KICK ITS PLEBIAN ARSE! JEEEZUUUS! mad.gif

It's got a very sexy name of "Se.exe" So that anyone who got it can spend a whole day, pouting their lips and going "Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" "Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" "XXXXXXXXXXX" "EEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

That damn technical mucus! May it rot in the world of technology and violent files!

I had the same problem and decided to change the computer! smile.gif

Eve, just go to Del+Ctrl+Alt (the three magic fingers) and close all the running programs that are unnecessary. It works, but that's the temporary relief. Good luck. biggrin.gif

I've tried it, first website I pulled out. The problem is that in task manager there is no such process as se.exe. I disabled it in msconfig in startup, I tried hijackthis, I tried adaware, I tried Spb, I tried registry crawler. It won't leave ME ALONE!!! The damn thing gets loaded with Rundll32, it's one of the running modules. I just wish I knew how to manually erase the damn thing from Rundll, and I can't find that information. I suck.

Here are some thing you can try
- Keep System Restore off while you're cleaning up your computer
- Use System Restore to rollback any system changes made recently
- Create a new user account and see if it keeps loading the module
- Connect you hard drive to another computer and then scan it or
you can try to make BartPE bootable CD with anti-virus and anti-spyware modules included and use it to access your drive and scan it without loading your infected Windows. http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/

- Reinstall Windows with Repair option

This is what worked for me when 'fixing' a friends machine. smile.gif
Also you could try booting in Safe Mode, and then run the adaware fixes, and clean the registry....

Eve, beside reinstalling or repairing Windows, I have found no option to get rid of that thing, don't waste your time.
