Maral jan, I am 100% in agreement with you. Not only that I make an effort to not go to any Armenian grocery store that carried Turkish products.

My European cousin and her husband went to Turkey to the city other than Bolise that we had come from. She was taking pictures of our former houses when she was asked by the locals what she was doing. When she told them that it was her grandparents' home the locals spit on her.

A long time ago I told my grandfather that the dried figs he was eating were from Turkey, he said: "Sometimes a fig is just a fig".

i watched something similar on tv. last year some armenian priests were visiting van. in a village they wanted to enter an old church but a kurdish women who was using the church as a stable didn' t let them in. she wanted money to open the door. the turkish tour guide gave her some money but she wanted more. then gendarmes came, tell off the kurdish women, opened the door and gave the money back to the guide.

I can't imagine that the Armenians of Istanbul would "teach" their children similar things and starve them of Turkish groceries and clad them in home-made clothes tailored from cloth ordered from Paris until the day Turkey recognises the genocide.

Point proven. Better to stay away form the scum, they have no human or moral values at all.

I am not a big fan of turkey myself, but if you are ever in New York check out a place called Viand on Madison and 62nd if I remember properly. It is owned by some sleazy Greeks but they make an excellent turkey sandwich.

I have boycotted both forms of Turkey for over 25 years now. On the dietary side, I have also boycotted chicken, beef, pork, duck and fish, etc. On the political side, I have made it my buisness NEVER to visit Turkey until they make amends. Whenever I pick up products, I always check, especially apricots. I will do without a product before I would buy ANYTHING from Turkey, or Azerbaijan for that matter.

Funny about those "Made in Turkey" advertisings. I guess I just have to take time to design another poster for that "Made in Turkey" idea... mad1.gif ..another one for our Posters competition. nod.gif So lets get creative. Tell me your opinion, what ELSE is "Made in Turkey"?
