The Los Angeles City Hall lit up the Armenian tricolor in a candle light vigil to commemorate the Armenian heroes killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) frontline clashes earlier in April. "We, as Americans, should ask our government to recognize Artsakh," LA City Councilman Paul Krekorian said at the event, Asbarez reports in a post on Facebook. Ara Kazaryan, an anchor and producer for PanArmenian TV, also shared his comments on the event on his personal Facebook profile. "The municipality of Los Angeles, one of the world's biggest and richest megalopolises, was 'painted' today with the colors of our tricolor in commemoration of our heroes killed in the four-day war ...," reads his status.
