Armenophob and ‘‘dirigible human rights activist’’ Ahmed Shahidov presents Azerbaijan at OSCE/ODIHR event in Warsaw

Yesterday, in the capital of Poland - Warsaw, ODIHR hosted an event dedicated to human rights. It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan was represented by a "dirigible human rights activist" and an ardent anti-Armenian, head of the "Azerbaijani Institute of Democracy and Human Rights" NGO (AIDHR) Ahmed Shaheed.

According to the Azerbaijani news agency "1news.az" while speaking of human rights in the countries of the South Caucasus, Shahidov had focused on the violation of fundamental rights of "more than 1 million refugees."

It is noteworthy that the Azerbaijani delegate, that had attended the ODIHR event on human rights, is known as an ardent anti-Armenian. To be more convinced it is enough to get acquainted with quotes the "human rights defender" made. In one of his articles Shahidov describes a story (http://www.misinformative.info/?p=4150), that had occurred to him(http://www.peeep.us/fa84e76b): in one of the Azerbaijani restaurants in Moscow, where the young "human rights activist" checked in, turned out that the singer was an Armenian in origin. In addition, there were quite a few Armenians in the restaurant.

Here, what Shahidov writes about this: I asked him about his nationality. He replied that he was an Armenian. It seemed like boiling water was poured on my head. "O Allah, he ... no, it cannot be true! The singer was an Armenian. The piece of the meat stuck in my throat and I could not swallow it, I pulled it out and put it on the plate. My friends surely knew that I am a patriot, and so they quickly understood the situation and began to soothe me down. By that time I had already lost the ability of talking."

When the singer sang "Jan Baku" in Russian, Armenians, about 10, began to dance. "It turned out that all the dancers were Armenians. I was standing in a daze surprised and revolted. It felt like someone was publicly, was throwing the last abusive words in my face. But these Armenians were dancing under the Russian "Jan Baku" in such an incendiary way that my legs began to shake nervously,"- shares his emotions Shahidov.

The waiter’s words that these visitors were Armenians, former inhabitants of Baku, and loved this music, Shahidov took even more acutely: "From the perturbation I lost the ability of speaking, I did not know what to say. As if there is difference between the Armenians. "Let the serpent be cursed, either black or white doesn’t matter," our saying proves.

"Damn you, Armenian," said to himself, Shahidov, when it turned out that the Armenian singer knows two songs in the Azerbaijani language.

Shahidov writes that he "threw himself to the toilet," as far as there were a lot of Armenians in the hall, and "as a true Turk a son of a Turk", decided to cry alone.

Those Azerbaijanis who "in one or another form, work with the Armenians, or make business transactions," according to Shahidov "cannot even be called "traitors.”

"They cannot be judged. They don’t even deserve it. Has anyone ever been judged for betraying his mother, father, sister, daughter? "writes the human rights activist, now presenting Azerbaijan at the ODIHR event.

Note that on the site of the "Azerbaijani Institute of Democracy and Human Rights" NGO among the partners of Ahmed Shahidov are indicated the OSCE, the Austrian Parliament, the Bundestag of Germany, Latvia Ombudsman. Probably all of the partners, of the "human rights activist" should think over this matter - whom they support and with whom they collaborate.
