I have dial-up at home (50 Kbps connection) and wireless at school (11 Mbps connection), but come on Hyeforum when I'm at home most of the time.

lol.. geez, you treat me like i'm from the middle ages.. dial-up is not that old, you know.. its usage is declining but a lot of people still use it.

Not to mention, why would I pay 30 bucks for an almost unreliable DSL when I can get reliable (but slow compared to DSL) dial-up for 10 bucks?

Armo, as a rule of thumb, I change any posted picture over 50K to a link. Feel free to post whatever, just that large pictures (over 50K) should be linked. I think there is also a 50K limit on attachments.

About avatars, I'd like to see them as small as possible. Less than 10K is perfect. 20K or less should be fine. More than that is pushing it ... especially since they show up a lot and in a page with 20 replies, you can have 20 different avatars.

About your question, I connect to the site with anything ranging from 14.4Kbps to over 100Mbps. My usual connection is a 1.5Mbps DSL line.

Also, not everyone viewing these pages is in the US ... so we want to be as accomodating as possible.
