Yeah I actually sneak off and on that freeway. Leave for work at 630am and usually get to Downtown LA by 7ish, leave work at 4pm and get home anywhere between 430 and after 5! Depends on the flow of traffic, and Fridays are always a pain. But the reason I wrote that is because this morning it was practically empty at like 640am I couldn't believe it! laugh.gif

Sewing a skimpy outfit/costume for private use with two office mates and your male friends forming a line in front of the door, asking when they can see it (on me) and everyone having a laugh out of it. LOL biggrin.gif

wow i just discovered this therad.......my kinda thread smile.gif

here are a few things:
~seeing smile on a friends face and them telling me that i helped them and lifted their moods...
~when i was little--- like 3 yrs old--falling asleep on my dads tummy--hope that doesnt sound weird--but my dad had/still has a beer belly thing goin on..and i would use it as my pillow...
~ when i wake in the morning and know that no matter what happens things will always be okay because i have faith in something-someone-GOD
~having such careing and woderful family members and friends--although i complain and get mad...typical thing 4 my age...but in the end i know its outta love and im able to smile again---knowing the mere fact that i am loved

~this one time--well we have a relative whose little boy from age 1 was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and survived many surgeries...and when i was volunteering at the hospital that he was at after one of his surgeries..i visited him everyday...but he was unconscious...and one day i was jsut having a horrible day-as i sat there next to him at the visit...i went closer and was jsut frozen and thinking--look at me-all selfish and miserable, whe i have everything but am not fully appreciating it..but this poor child is suffering...and at that moment when he opened his eyes and i was just baffled..just a really werid and amazing moment...made me feel glad to be alive and appreciate things and not take them for granted--now i see ths little boy as my tiny little sign from god telling me that i should appreciate life more and look around me...

sorry this is long...just couldnt hold back this incident

Just wondering, did you become a vegetarian out of health reasons or ethical reasons?

I know I couldn't live without meat for 5 hours biggrin.gif
