After three days of continuous intense games, Karim Darwish beats Egyptian compatriot - Amr Shabana, ranked number one squash player in a fierce final round of the Red Bull Squash Temple tournament.
World number one Ramy Ashour(EG), world number five, Amr Shabana (EG) started the semi final round with Ashour beating Shabana scoring 3/5. Red Bull athlete Darwish battled it out for the second semi final with world number nine, David Palmer (AU), to have Darwish winning with a score of 1/'5.
The two players competed in the final for the Red Bull Squash Temple title in a fierce game, luckily, Darwish beat Ashour scoring 4/5 to be crowned the tournament's champion among a huge crowd from Luxor ihabitants and tourists.
Luxor Governor. Dr. Samir Farag and the Head of Egyptian Squash Federation, Mr. Assem Khalifa, granted both Darwish and Ashour their well deserved money prizes among the cheering of spectators.
