Even when American women acquired the vote in 1920, they did not begin to vote in significant numbers until much later. What do you think are the conditions necessary for women's political involvement, especially using the vote? How influential is the women's vote, as such? What effect does culture have on women's voting patterns? In what numbers do Armenian women vote in Armenia? How about in the diaspora?

(sidenote: If anyone has direct access to background information on armenian women's voting patterns I'd appreciate the info.)
