The foreign minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian who is on a business visit in Belgium had a meeting on June 13 with the head of the Armenian-Belgian group of friendship of the Senate of Belgium Philippe Magu, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the ministry of foreign affairs of Armenia.
In the course of the meeting the sides noted that there are no political problems between the two countries, and it's necessary to take concrete steps in the sphere of economy.
Representing the last developments in Armenia, minister Oskanian stressed the importance of assistance of both the friendly states and EuroCouncil in the matter of development of the economy of Armenia and its integration into European structures. In particular, he noted that it's necessary to deepen mutual relations between Armenia and EuroCouncil sealed in the Friendship and cooperation treaty, and to focus attention on the question of encouragement of investments. In this context has been mentioned the importance of the visit of the foreign minister of Belgium to Armenia planned for this year. -0-
