An Armenian-language virtual keyboard for the Apple iOS7 system can now be downloaded from App Store to allow users to leave posts and add contacts in Armenian letters.
The application, Armkeyboard, has been developed by the Armenian software programmer Vahram Gevorgyan, who introduced his invention at a Saturday news conference.
“I have tried to develop a maximum multifunctional application which would simultaneously be simple for use. There are free applications, but they mainly contain ads which disturb users. Both have their advantages,” he said, adding that the software price is $1.
Gevorgyan said that he did not pursue any financial bias when developing the software, adding that the activity is a kind of hobby for himself. At the same time he expressed confidence that the keyboard will soon attract most Apple users in Armenia.
