Did you ~ Yes ch,ei ~ you can use 5W 30 weight oil in small engines that call for 30W ~ Briggs & Stratton says so ~ in fact they say it's best over a long period of time and temps ~ So ,Yesterday I woke up the log splitter, after a long winters nap ~ and changed the oil ~ man it needed that ~ I started and split a few rounds and it stopped running and demanded that, that I rebuild the carb ~ I removed and opened the carburetor, damaging that main gasket ~ had to make a new one ~ i had no punch to cut or make the holes ~ had to use a single edge razor ~ what a pain ~ but it works ~ Better than ever ~ forgot gloves upstairs so my hands were covered with Fir Pitch and bleeding in a couple places ~ but consider the operation a success ~ 5W 30 ```

Write this down ~ I'm going to ask questions later ```

gasoline usually lasts three to six months when properly stored.
use STA-BIL (22208) Storage Fuel Stabilizer / it wont let your gas go bad.wont hurt your carb.
i use it in our ATV & honda generator
