SCIENTIST: SAMSUNG INTERESTED IN ARMENIA-PRODUCED SOLAR PANELS

June 06, 2014 | 13:32

YEREVAN. - World famous Samsung company is showing interest in
Armenia-produced solar panels for new washing machines, Armenian
researcher said.

Vahan Hamazaspyan, the author of Armenia's geliofication program, said
the talks with the company continue. Meanwhile, on July 22 a group
of researchers plan to open a pilot solar station not far from Yerevan.

"The new power plant should be built as soon as possible for the
national interests. If we use the entire solar potential, it is
sufficient for several nuclear power plants," Hamazaspyan said.

He claims the cost of solar energy taking into account new
technologies may reach 0.3 dram kilowatt hour, which will lead to
boosting competition, industry and agriculture. In particular, 10 -
25 percent of the cost of production of dried fruit - or about $1
per kilo - is spent on electricity and gas.

"A solar station requires only one-time costs. I think it is very
important for our farmers," he said.

Dear Onjig, we love you and we love your rosy outlook, eyeglasses..

I hate to rain on your parade, but before we expand on the subject, and make fools of ourselves ***let us once again read the following thread, and the attached references. There I touched upon the invention of the wheel**
Icluding but not limited to Armenicum.

Let us take a huge grain of salt before we believe those wishful fables that come out of Yerevan every other day.

Giant grain of salt. ՀՍԿԱՅ ԱՂՈՒՀԱՏԻԿ

"(With) a grain of salt," (or "a pinch of salt") is an idiom which means to view something with skepticism, or to not take it literally.[1]

**But I forgot to include this. I saw it on MythBusters at Discovery that someone had invented the square wheel, claiming it to faster than the circular one.

***Speaking of making fools of ourselves , see what a certain fool said about dolma.

Arpa maybe you need to clean your opaque pessimistic sunglasses a bit, not everything is false as you make it to be. Spamming is not a virtue but a pain for readers when it's done on a regular basis, I'm tired of your dolmas, sarmas and basturmas.

Are you telling me that round wheel is better than square one? I didn't know that, thanks for the info.

Dear Arpa, We love you, but you at times you are the only one in your parade. With your predictable bombast you serve as a bad example. Your opinion is important, we should know what even the least garavor think.

Dear Arpa, When first I found this gathering place, and I am very pleased for that, I began to read post containing a strange fellow, straining to be a negative and final word on subjects he something but not everything about. Accusing, ridiculing, attacking with what looked like the intent to drive away an Armo with anger and malice.

I have read many post and threads populated by ladies and men who are no longer to be found in the halls or in the coffee room of this very Armenian forum, I wonder how many no longer drop by because of your rages. I remember an Armenian Lady pleading with you to be reasonable in your treatment of another Armenian who you were trying to squash.

Dear Arpa, You could be such a great help, a guide even, if you would be more of statesman than a bully.

Arpa, I don't mind most of what you say and do, you remind me a bit of uncle Kevork, how he was at picnics and parties. I loved him but most people didn't like him and some would not come if they knew he would be there.

I choose to like you, who you are is part of us, in a pinch facing an enemy, not our cousin, you could be and asset.

Arpa, Please evaluate your approach to us.

When next I am in the coffee room I'll bring with me wine and ogi, we make wonderful wine, if you don't like wine I'll have also a surgaman, if you don't drink coffee that's fine too. We can talk or not.

Have a good day, I wish you the best.

Onjig
