On August 17, Cox and her delegation were in Berdzor, where they met with Artur Mkhitaryan and Hakob Sayamyan, the Deputy Heads of the Kashatagh Regional Administration, and Head of Staff Davit Davtyan.  The delegation stayed the night in Berdzor.

Sahakyan said that he considered it important so that the delegation can become acquainted with Artsakh and establish friendship ties with its people.

Cox noted that Artsakh had become dear to her since the time of the war with Azerbaijan. She told the members of her group, who were in Artsakh for the first time, about the heroism of the people of Artsakh.  Speaking about Kashatagh, Cox said that the Armenian people had always founded and flourished their country on ruins.

Disabled individuals who had fought in the Artsakh Liberation War and were later treated in a rehabilitation center in Stepanakert named after Cox were also a part of the delegation.

She, Baroness Caroline Cox, has not forgotten Artsakh, God love her!

Caroline Cox: The world should recognize the eviction of the Armenian
population and the destruction of cultural monuments in Nakhichevan

Yerevan August 8

David Stepanyan. Azerbaijan's aggressive policy towards Armenia and
Artsakh continues. As reported by the press office of the National
Assembly of Armenia, Baroness Caroline Cox, member of the House of
Lords of the British Parliament, stated this during a meeting in
Yerevan with Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ara Babloyan.

"My principle is to keep my eyes, ears and thought open. I want to
share everything I have seen with the world: the world must recognize
the eviction of the Armenian population of Nakhijevan and the
destruction of cultural monuments," Cox said.

In turn, Babloyan, attaching importance to the role of the Baroness in
the strengthening of Armenian- British relations, noted the balancing
position of Great Britain in the issue of the Karabakh settlement.

"I equally regret the death of both Armenian and Azerbaijani young
people, these guys are not to blame for the fact that the problem is
not being solved at the negotiating table. The world must recognize
the right of the Artsakh people to a free life. And Armenia and
Azerbaijan have the opportunity to conduct peace negotiations to
resolve this issue," summed up Babloyan.
