Armenia is sending rescue squads to Syria and Turkey
Vahan Hunanyan, spokesperson of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry reported, Armenia is sending rescuers to Syria and Turkey.
“Today, the Republic of Armenia is sending rescue squads to Syria and Turkey to support the search and rescue operations in the regions affected by the devastating earthquake” Hunanyan informed.

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. Four Turkish-Armenian family members in Adiyaman city were killed in the devastating February 6 earthquake.
The victims are a husband (Samvel Ilhan Yepremyan) and wife and their two children. Their third child survived the earthquake, a relative of the family confirmed to ARMENPRESS. The victims were citizens of Turkey.
The death toll in Turkey in the earthquake stands at over 14,350.

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. On February 11, Armenia sent trucks with humanitarian aid to Turkey, ARMENPRESS reports, the spokesperson of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan informed.
The death toll of the Turkey earthquake is at least 20,655, and the number of injured is more than 80,000. More than 166 thousand people are involved in search and rescue operations. 93 thousand people were evacuated from the disaster zone of the southern regions of Turkey.
