How do you pronounce the numbers 1-10 in your dialect?

This is sort of related to my Gyumri post, but how do you pronounce the numbers 1-10 in your dialect? I have found some information of the dialects of Armenian and I have noticed that there are small differences from town to town. If you could type out how you say your numbers 1-10 in your dialect and put which town you are from that would help a lot. I am trying to collect a database on Armenian dialects.

That was Artsaxi dialect, Artsax = Nagorno Garabagh... I am in the US, I was born in Erevan, ancestors are from Nor Bayazet

Thanks for the info Ashot. It is interesting how rather different 7 is (okht). Armenian has such a rich dialect tradition. I was surprised to see how also different the dialect of Yerevan versus the standard written language. I am still waiting for someone from Gyumri. I have read that their dialect is also pretty different from the standard.

wow Sip, what a nice way to dirty our language... so basically this is what's gonna happen, a Furk or an Azerbadrjani is going to search for Armenian Dialects, and eventually get in here... afterwards they are going to see your post and gonna pretty much lough harder then you are, they are going to roll on the floor, because they are going to think that we are now claiming that those NAMES you just posted are Armenian dialect... on the other hand it's a better way to attrack other nationalities, especially those who are constantly waiting for us to make the damn little mistakes that we so happily do make, and they are going to use it against us...

Jay, I think Gyumri dialect uses the same as Erevan in regards to the numbers, I haven't heard it otherwise!!!

They use it slightly different when they put it into the sentences, such as... Ap jan mehatm@ et xndzorits kudas? we would say ayts xndzorits mihat k@tas?

Relax Ashot jan ... I can guarantee you that has been a "dialect" far longer than what you might see people now refer to as "Western" Armenian
PS: With the exception of my favorite which happens to be "besh", the rest are in Farsi ... and they are purely used, as I said, while playing Nardi ... at least in my neck of the woods.

In our neck of the woods it is furko-Farsi hybrid.
1+1= Hap Yek
1+2=Iki bir (furkish)
1+3=se yek
1=4=Char ou yek
1+5=Pench our yek
1+6=Shesh ou yek
2+2=Dou bara
2+3=dou se
2+4=char ou du
2+5=pench ou du
2+6=shesh ou du
3+3=du se
3+4=char ou se

This is when I want to make a point clear... why can't we have everything in it's right thread, post, topic!!!
Especially our Mods have to care about stuff like this... How about we start from now? Let's make a new topic name it NARDI and put Arpa's and Sip's posts there... It is irrelevant to Armenian Dialect... Persian has never been in our language, especially knowing that Arpa is one of the few people prooving and mentioning this all the time!!!

I'm from Gyumri, and I have to say that I agree with Ashot. It's the same as with people from Yerevan. I think only instead of "yerku" Gyumretsis say "erku".
