PanARMENIAN.Net - How does one dress for a mass exodus onto a giant wooden ark that will be surrounded by rising flood waters for an indefinite period of time? Why, with homemade t-shirts, head wraps and fashionable boots, Collier said.

At least that’s what the cast of Darren Aronofsky’s Noah was wearing in recent set photos. The images show off Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson in costume on their way to/from set, along with titular star Russell Crowe short-sleeved and bearded.

The film also stars Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Durand, Martin Csokas and Mark Margolis.

One of the most fascinating questions surrounding Darren Aronofsky's Noah is how the director plans on dealing with all of the animals. In the biblical story, God has the titular character gather up two of every creature on Earth in order to save them from the great flood. Obviously in order to accomplish this the director will need to use a big of digital trickery and CGI, but judging by a new photo from the set they will be using practical animals as well.

Cinematographer Matthew Libatique, who served as the director of photography on Aronofsky's Black Swan, The Fountain, Requiem For A Dream and Pi, has Tweeted a new photo from the set of Noah, and if you're not a fan of snakes now might be the time to look away. Labeled with the message "Pre lighting on the holiest day of the year" (the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur begins at sundown), the new image features heaping piles of various species of snakes as well as what appears to be either a crocodile or an alligator. You can see the image below and head over to Libatique's Twitter feed to see it full size.
