FOOLS
*********************
To call someone a fool is bad enough; but what is infinitely worse is to waste the rest of your life trying to prove him a fool.
But perhaps what I am talking about here is not an individual aberration but one that is typical of our leaders -- our role models. After committing a blunder, our leaders too spend the rest of their lives trying to prove opposition wrong.
But once we admit to be human, it would be a serious blunder to believe only those who flatter us by agreeing with us; because to do so would imply that we are perfect or blameless or beyond criticism.
Which is where our critics come in.
Surely, they can’t all be wrong!

Ara,
Was it not in one of your books that is written something like: "it is easy to fool a fool, it is even easier to fool yourself. Draw your own conclusion." ?
