You're young and in college--why the need to meet guys online??? Online stuff is for old bags like me. UCLA has plenty of Armenian activities--start there! Or howabout the Marketplace in Glendale??? There are plenty of fine upstanding Hyes there on a Saturday night.

I don't mind to let others know about your or other members forums but I don't like when they start to promote their forums/sites here. We're trying to keep our site free of banners and all kind of promotions. Our forum is for discussions but not for promotions.

Garo,
I'm sorry if I was appearing to push my sites, but I only mentioned them once to two members each, both of which stopped posting for a very long period of time. And I also only pointed out the adresses are on the signature to find them, as they usually are whether I mention the sites or not.
Thanks,
Kazza

I was going to say something like "don't worry, Kazza - all publicity is good publicity" but then I found that both the links posted don't actually lead anywhere!!
You won't get visitors unless you get the urls right

After the next update of the forum software I'll probably limit the length of the signature.

I think the internet is as good as any other place to meet people, whether it's friends or possible fiancees. It all depends on your wisdom and experience, 'mensenkennis', your ability to pick up signals and to distinguish the good from the bad in an early stage. I met some real jerks in real life. My fiancee I met online. Watch out though with guys from oversees, to have a relationship on such a distance can become a real heavy thing to deal with practically and emotionally.
