Urax Avtobus (Merry Bus)

This is a film about revival of people somehow being faced with a tragedy, about Hope, Trust and Love, about the belief that human existence, it's sorrows and delights are gaining sense merely in the environment of human beings and that the only remedy for bereavement is simply to live ... live remembering.

The events are going on in Gyumri, Armenia, in the zone of the 1988 disastrous earthquake.

A child, capable of hearing the "music" of telephone wires and suffering the loss of family, finds the missing aspiration family. Suddenly he has found out that Ms. Satenik, the teacher of the cottage-school, is also capable of hearing the "music" in the telephone cords and he has began to believe that he has found the first member of his family.

The woman adopts the child, after he stalks her and sneaks into her appartment at night several times. Nevertheless, this little boy is sure that the family should necessarily have a father as well ...

I came out of the premiere with tears of joy and sorrow and a hopeful smile on my face. This film by Albert Mkrtchyan is living proof that HyeFilm (ArmFilm) is not dead !!!

The little boy in the movie, Jora Baghdasarin (Gagik) is amazing !!! A 9 year old with an inborn talent for acting. He is the face of our future generation of actors.
