Complete List of Alkaline Foods & Acidic Food pH Ratings

In this link there is the best food chart ever for Alkaline-Acidic food:

http://www.acidalkal...Foods-Chart.htm

Blood alkaline balance should be 7.4 or 7.365

"Acidosis" occurs when the blood reading of pH goes below seven and stay there. This is usually what kills cancer patients.

Those with Acidosis are more in risk of suffering from cancer; while cancer tumors have been seen to decrease in large measures when one goes on a special diet of Alkaline foods. Even slightly acidic pH of 6.0 can actually lead to coma and death.

In the printable chart given on the link the acidic foods are given color "red" and it has 3 categories: deep red, orange and yellow. While alkaline ones given the color green: light green, medium green and deep green. A very easy chart to remember.

How The List of Alkaline Foods Works

  1. The color of the text under each food represents the pH rating.
  2. This chart is based on the resulting pH "ash" of foods after digestion. This is the reading you should go by when alkalizing foods for your body.

  3. You should aim for a 70/30 ratio between high alkaline vs acid foods.
  4. There is no need to be extreme with your diet and remove all acid foods. At the same time, very acidic foods should be avoided. Often they are harmful and not just for your pH levels.

Note: If you are trying to alkalize your body then make sure you are doing it the correct way. Eating alkaline foods listed on this part is one part of the process.

NOTICE THAT FRUITS WITH ACIDS LIKE LEMONS DOES IT NOT MEAN LEMON HAS ACIDIC EFFECTS, ON CONTRARY LEMON DEVELOPS ALKALINE EFFECT ONCE EATEN OR BEST WHEN FRESH LEMON IS SQUEEZED IN WATER AND DRANK. THE SAME FOR TOMATOES, although with acids but tomatoes develop alkaline in body blood.

What is not mentioned here is red BEETS, which is at the top of alkaline foods. Lot of people hate eating beets, they do not like it, except of the course the Russians. Well I found a way to make it savory. I buy a bunch of fresh beets with the green stems(never use the ones in cans, they taste awful; or the loose ones), cut & throw away the green stems and after washing the roots I boil them in hot water for more than one hour until rather soft when touched by a fork and easily skinned.

Take the hot beets out, after skinning them  you can eat them hot, or warm, or cold after keeping them in the refrigerator. They taste great in cold with salads. Additional benefit of those fresh beets with their stems is that they alkalize your intestines and urinal tracks from acidity, you can see that if you eat a lot at one sitting, when your waste is colored in red, do not be alarmed the red color passes away the next day from your body solid & liquid waste.

(NaturalNews) Many of the foods that comprise today's modernized diet plans are acidic. Consumerism and marketing plans have had a hand in destroying our eating habits. This can have a damaging effect on our health when we choose too many foods that are unhealthy. The foods that we eat are either acidic or alkaline. Eating foods that contain too much acid can be very harmful to our digestive systems. Therefore, it is important to have a good balance of both acidic and alkaline foods in our everyday meal plans.

Why It is Important to Add Alkaline Foods to Your Diet
Our bodies are designed to consume alkaline foods, such as bananas, avocados, carrots, celery and berries, in order to function properly. Eating this type of food on a regular basis can help stabilize the pH level of our blood. Since the blood in our bodies is naturally acidic, it is crucial that we have the right amount of alkaline in our bloodstream in order to function properly. Adding more alkaline foods to your diet plan can help your body perform better and allow it to fight against the harmful effects of oxidation and viruses.

Top Alkaline-Containing Foods to Add to Your Diet Plan
Apples, apricots and alfalfa sprouts are alkaline foods that aid in digestion and contain a large amount of fiber. These foods have a pH level of 8, which can help regulate the pH level of your blood. They are also rich in helpful enzymes that can help you to maintain a normal and healthy hormonal balance.

Foods like grapes, passion fruit, pineapple, raisins and pears are high in antioxidants such as vitamins A, B and C. These foods are blood-regulating, which mean that they help lower blood pressure levels and reduce your risk of developing heart disease. Pineapple is high in L-carnitine; this is an ingredient that uses body fat for energy and is essential for trimming down if you are overweight.

Vegetable juice is another good choice if you want to add more alkaline foods to your diet. These healthy and delicious juices can add more iron to your diet and can help with cellular detoxification.

Other Alkaline Foods to Try
Once you learn more about the many benefits of adding more alkaline foods to your diet plan, doing so will be a more desirable choice. These fruits and vegetables offer many exceptional health benefits that can provide you with more strength and energy throughout the day.

Foods such as limes, mangos and papaya help clean out the kidneys and improve the overall function of the digestive system. Cantaloupe is a great source of vitamin A, which helps fight off free radicals. Watermelon is considered to be a mild diuretic and is a high source of lycopene, vitamin C and beta-carotene. These foods can help you detoxify your body without the use of over-the-counter supplements or medications. If you have been feeling sluggish lately and need to recharge, switching to a diet that is full of alkaline foods will help you get your body back on track.
