Who else shall play in it? (Please include some forum members as well!)
Kazza Ioannou-Kouioumjian, Gayannne and Sul
Pilaf head Nvard Garo Mouradian
Boghos Berj and Iranyar
Maggie Thatcherazian Gorberchov
Daisy the sheep from her debut in "everything you wanted to know about *** but were too afraid to ask" (She says that film was only for exposure anyway)
Who will we be and what will we be doing?

Berj,
Did you mean favorite movies about or with Armenians, or favorite movies of people in this forum?
My favorite movies are (in not much of an order):
Godfather (also)
Godfather II
Clockwork Orange
Mr. Mom
Some Like It Hot
The Great Race
Planet of The Apes
Beneath The Planet of The Apes
BTW, High Fidelity is my life--both the book and movie
If you can recommend any movies with or about Armenians (besides documentaries), I'm all eyes! I only know of Atom Egoyan.

Every so often, I'll catch one on the Armenian Channel but it's like a 10th generation dupe.

I know "Artsaxian Anavart Oragir" is subtitled. I have seen "Patvi Hamar" subtitled also. All the movies made by Vigen Chaldranian are subtitled. I forgot to mention "Mayrik" which is a wonderful movie made by an Armenian director (can't recall his name) - it's subtitled also and can be found in almost all armenian Audio/Video stores.

Personally? NO But I adore her as an actress.

FYI: Her role in "Patvi Hamar" as Margarit was her first major movie role. She was only 18 or 20 at the time.

Gayane,
Are you kidding me? I grew up these films When we were new in the states, my parents made a ritual - we would all gather in the living room and watch one armenian film after dinner. It nourished our souls and I guess slightly releaved the longing for Armenia. Even my little sister, who was only 6 months old at the time she came here, loves these films and watches them with us
I think I would have missed out on so much, had I not been exposed to the armenian cinema.
