In the spirit of this forum, picked up a six pack of Armenian beer on the way home. It's called, KILIKIA. Is this a good brand? No standard carboard six-pack holder. It comes shrink-wrapped!

Am I drinking pee water imported in for US diasporan s*ckers? I have heard that Fosters is NOT that popular in Australia--it's just American marketing that makes it seem so. Makes me wonder about this stuff.

A 1 or 2 years a go when Kilikya was just starting in LA market i did get some 2 defend kinds a normal wit the Green label & a dark one wit brown label.
to be honest wit you it was not bad at all.
but in last month or so many are complaining of this beer,
ether shipment is getting old & it's not testing us good , or another one of so called "Armenian Stile Businesses"
there is also Kotiyk Beer witch is natural beer test this one , you might like this.

but if you like beer you can tray this > beer at home http://www.mrbeer.com
it's way better than any beer that you can by at the store.
you can make them us you like , you can even make something that the ladies like sweet & caramel this is not a joke.
a good friend of min is in to this, for many years i stay a way frame alcohol, do to Lever condition i have frame the old wood , but any time i visit him i can not stay a way from his cold beer section of his frig
home made beer there is nothing like it ...
Good lock & welcome to Hye Forum.

It's OK, grandma is coming over tonight (bringing dolma!), so I'll have her translate. Thanks in advance, MosJan!

OK, based on MosJan's post, this week's beer is KOTAYK. Another lager, like KILIKIA. I thought maybe this was another brewed-for-the-diaspora only beer, but I don't know.

The taste has that "skunky" Heinekein taste. Not bad, but not my style. Empty bottles are a pretty aqua color, though

I thought a new Armenian beer would be a good alternative to all the God and religion talk going on over at Channel 4.
