Palaeontologists: this could be your lucky day. Turkish creationist Adnan Oktar has just offered ten trillion lira - a mouth-watering $7.5 trillion - to "anyone who produces a single intermediate-form fossil demonstrating evolution".
...

Maybe this belongs under Arpa's "Comedistan" thread? biggrin.gif lol.gif

I don't find it funny, demonstration is only possible in mathematics. With his choice of words, nothing could 'demonstrate' evolution, even though it is still the best model we have.

Let me offer him 100 trillion if he could provide a better model.

Yes Sip. It belongs in Comedistan.
He may be leery of his ilk having not quite been evolved from the gobble gobble and that his cousins may have not yet evloved from the baboons.

Is this article a ruse ? Irrespective of one's views on the subject, for once I have to agree with the turk. I am sure there is going to be a long, long ,queue of anthropologists, fossilogists, and sundry specialists claiming the booty of trillons. Maybe the utrk meant 7000 dollars, in which case it is not worth the bother to prove anything to him. I am pretty certain that the league of evolutionary neo-darwinists can provide ample proof.... with a transitional fossil ?

If something is not in your immediate sight then it certainly never existed at all. EVERYONE knows that.
