Would people be interested in sharing investment ideas here? Is it practical or more of a hustle?

Oh, don't get me wrong I have/had a list to long(here we go with that long list again) of failures as well. Among them was webvan(I use to LOVE their service, I wish someone else would come back in to that segment of the market) and Exodus and JDS Uniphase(barf) and AT&T and Gillette and Home Depot and who can forget Lucent.

YOu wanna take advice from me? hehehehehe ... so for a while I was pretty hot on this company called ZOOX (Gadzoox) ... not sure if I told you about them ... so I bought when they were $50, I bought when they were $45 ... I bought when they were $30 ... I bought even more when they got to $20 ... I added a few more shares to my portfolio when they hit $15 and some more when they went below $10. I also bought a few more around $5.
Last trade, they were at around .5 cent I believe You still want advice from me?

Plus I saw how a few friends who had gone out chasing their millions ($$$) after their BS degree, got totally bankrupt and lost everything Some of them couldn't even afford the taxes they owed on these stock options that were part of their starting package at those hightech companies.

I didn't sell.
The stock plummetted to just under a dollar, now it's worth just over 3$... maybe I should buy some more

But I did sell yahoo when it hit $500 ... it was the BEST decision I've ever made (very few shares though)... they are around $18 right now but that's after one split.

I have a friend who exercised her options of Exodus at $38 when they were at $90, but did not sell any shares. Which means she had a gain of $52 a share and no money at hand at that time. Then the company went within 3 months filled for bankruptcy and closed shop so at the end of the year she had a gain of 52 and a loss of 38 which meant that for each share she had a net gain of 14 a shares that she never even got a penny for but had to pay thousands of dollars in taxes for that gain. I think she either had 2400 shares or 1400 shares. Sad. She was crying as she had no job and a huge tax burden.

On another note I just got off the phone with my broker at Morgan Stanley and he said that they are seeing a support level of 7100. Oh boy. I have no more blood left.
