I've been using Chrome as a main browser for more than 8 months. It has been my primary browser for about 6 months at least. I just love it (especially now that it is out of beta and a lot of bugs have been ironed out). It has a number of advantages over other browsers but the main thing is it's clean, FAST, and has a very useful interface.
There are still a few issues to keep in mind however:
1. There is no google toolbar support (yah, strangely enough!). So this means your google bookmarks aren't as easily available like they would be in IE or firefox. I use those all the time.
2. There is no fire-fox like plug-in support yet so if you rely heavily on firefox plug-ins (like ad blockers), you may want to try Chrome a bit before doing a full switch.
3. No Mac or linux version yet but they are rapidly working on it.
If you haven't tried Chrome, try it for a bit. You might end up liking it a lot. For google stuff (like gmail, google calendar, google docs, etc) it works very well.
