Cockatiels

Hi,
I just got 2 cockatiels(birds) and I was wondering if anyone has ever had these types of birds before. How was it? were they loud?

can they live in the same cage with a medium sized parrot?

PETCO doesn't know/guarantee the sex of these birds, so does any one here know how we can tell?

You might want to search for a cockatiel forum. I tool care of my cousin's cockatiel once. It look great - but one morning I woke up and it was stiff - dead - lying on its side at the bottom of the cage. I don't think I should be offering any advice whatsoever.
