THE AUTHORITIES OF ARMENIA AND RNK HAD A MEETING WITH THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF
HELSINKI INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION
13.06.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. On June 12 the president of Armenia Robert Kocharian received the
executive director of Helsinki international federation on human rights Aaron Roads.
As was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the president of the country, "the sides discussed a
wide range of questions dealing with human rights defense".
Aaron Roads visited also the Republic of Nagorno Artsax. At the meeting with the prime minister of
RNK Anushavan Danielian Roads declared that the organization which he is heading "is interested in the
establishing peace in the region and the rapid settlement of the Artsax problem". -0-
