The chief editor Dr. Robert Jebejian (1909-2001), born in Aintab was a prominent ophthalmologist , founder of his own eye clinic. It was at his clinic that the first corneal transplant, actually was prformed by Dr. Artin (Harutiun) Ingilizian, born in Marash and specialized in Paris. Beside being ahighly skilled physician, Dr. Jebejian was an accomplished artist and musician(vilonoist), founder the Sarian Art Institute** and te Komitas Quartet.
Johannes can tell us more about him.
Many of those on the editorial board are familiar to me.
On page 90 , the acknowledgement one name stands out., the much loved and respected Doctor Artin of Aleppo, Dr, Harutiun TerGhazarian. Born in Marash 1881, MD diploma at the AUB, he was not only a n accomplished physician that hade tended to 3,4,5 generations, besides he was a historian in his own right and philanthropist. He was never married, and neither were his two sisters. All three of them lived a very modest monk-like lives. He had a very modest office, he did not have a set fee, he would have a basket by his desk where people would drop whatever they could afford or not at all.
Also, on page 67 we see the Bethel school with Hovannes Haydostian the principle. His grandson Paul Haydostian is the current president of Haykazian University, whose father, in his own turn was the principle of the school..

Many prominent Armenian were born or grew in those tin houses. Among which the blessed mempry HH Zareh Kathoghikos Payaslian of the Great House of Kilikia.
PS. Someone should write about the "tin city" of beirut, nicknamed "char chabuk/ in a hurry" as well, and lets us know how many prominent Armenians hail from there.
