When I was working on this, I was thinking what ճանապարհ means, where does it begin, where does it end, the narrow escapes, sharp and long curves, circles which take you to the starting point and a big white space around. Its a beautiful word with a lot of subtle meaning.

Dear Rouben, long time no see. It is good to see you again, and your wonderful work.

I am surprised you did not add this post to your previous thread- Calligraphy.

http://hyeforum.com/index.php?showtopic=16995&page=1&#entry215066

As to the silence at the forum, the site has been in the throes of a death- nap, aka coma/mahaqoun** for quite sometime, as many of our denizens have exhausted all they had been raring to say for a long time. And now The Rest Is Silence.

The Forum has had a precipitous down fall when no one talks about History, Culture et al. All we see is such mundane items like “what are the Armenian names of otherwise furkish language dishes.

SAD! VERY SAD!

Dear Rouben, please visit us more often and let us know the progress of your work

**Remember Petros Dourian’s Zghjoum where he says-

Երէկ երբ պաղ քրտանց մէջ

Սեւ մըրափ մը կ’առնէի…

----…

Yesterday, in a cold sweat

I was in a deep dark nap…

JFK comes to mind! Instead of what Hyeforum can do for us, let's say what can we do for Hyeforum. Then maybe things will be better and busier like before. :)

Well said Yervant.

Did you know that is a quote/paraphrase from the Lebanese poet Jebran Khalil Jebran?

Many sites cite him as Gibran.

However when we let our guard down and allow the likes of that MAN, who entered like a lamb talking about bike-a-thons etc., and then when he removed his mask all hell broke loose, wreaking havoc, with all that nonsense talk about anti christ and other garbage.

If that was not enough, he showed us his real hateful face (even if he constantly talked about love, even loving the turk), insulting the Armenian Church for not talking about all that End of the World gobbledygook, insulting the so called Arab Armenians, furk Armenians and even the Caucasian Armenians.

Eventually getting to personal attacks, naming names, just because we did not share his stories about his auntie christie.

Did that MAN ever talk about Charents, Sevak, Varuzhan et al?

I could never figure out his ethnicity, where he was writing from, or how he finances his keeps, his source of income and who, which cult pays for his internet fees for 25 hours a day.

How is that only you and I saw his real face behind that mask, to show us his wolfish fangs? My hope is that he abides by his threat/promise to never enter here again.

Can we be more vigilant and see who is entering and in what guise?

Arpa jan, yes, its been a really really long time. 3 years ago I moved back to Armenia, now we live in a house in Ashtarak which I have renovated for good 4 month, have a baby daughter 1 year old and life seem to finally kind of settle down. Too many years I spent wondering around and realized there is only one place I want to be - my country. How is life been treating you?

That is beautiful Rouben. Do you also dabble in color?

I wonder if you had seen this initiated by Nairi.

It did not go far enough. The site I had listed will not open.

http://hyeforum.com/...=1

Do you have access to such sites, and do you dabble in it, or illumination ala Toros Roslin?

Here is one. Site about Trchnagir;

http://arm-handmade....irdwriting.html

There is very little, if any about when, why and by whom the art form of Bird Script started.

We also see that alongside there was the art of Animal and Flower/Plant Scripts.

This is eerie. The following article is written by Levon Chukazian that I have personally met several times.
