btw. do you guys have this sort of thing in LA for Armenians: dance parties at nice venues with djs 1-2 times a month playing Armenian as well as local music? I wouldnt mind seeing some pics too...

Yeah looks like the few ones held here, which were relativelly crappy (but better than nothing). We really are a 'tsan@r' bunch with few party animals....

that's funny 'tsan@r'!!! though i do NOT think the youth of today (most of them) are that way!! some are on the extreme with everything!! with attitude, alcohol, sexuality...and i mean pushing the limits on the EXTREME!!!!!

like that infamous kiss on tv we all heard so much about!! what the heck are people going to do next? have sex with their hair dryer and curling iron? i mean what is so borrrrrring with just a man and a woman being together? seems like the whole world needs to "experiment"...

i want the good ol' days (before i was born ) where we had nice, beautiful, innocent music, guys who actually loved their girlfriends and wanted to get married and people had "normal" sex, or at least did not flaunt their lifestyles in front of the whole world...no gay bashing here, this goes for ALL forms of sexuality--- i'm just saying...i'm glad i'm not a child these days...there is nothing innocent and sacred left in this world!!

well.....there are exceptions, but as far as my experience goes the majority (of Armenians) are 'tsan@r'. Not so much in terms of alcohol, sexuality etc. but more in relation to character and attitude. Even with some Armo guys (and most girls) you gotto watch EVERYTHING you say and do, for them not to think badly of you. Thats why I only got a couple of Armo 'friends', though these days they are more like acquaintences then friends as I hardly see them.....
