AZERBAIJANI SCIENTIST: "MARKING THE 2790TH ANNIVERSARY OF YEREVAN HAS NO SCIENTIFIC GROUND"

Azeri Press Agency
April 3 2008
Azerbaijan

Baku. Laura Jabrayilli-APA. "Marking the 2790th anniversary of Yerevan
within the framework of the International Assembly of Capitals and Big
Cities on October 11 this year has no scientific or historical grounds.

Yerevan was established during the Arabic period. Yerevan and
Western Azerbaijan do not belong to Armenians or Armenian history",
Deputy Director of History Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy
of Sciences Jabi Bahramov told APA. He said that Urartu sources,
scientific works by outstanding Russian historians, Igor Dyakonov,
Azerbaijani academician Igrar Aliyev, American scientist Armenian by
origin Nina Garsia and others showed that the Armenians had nothing
to do with this territory.

"After the spread of Christianity, churches, as well as Grigoryan
church started missionary activity beginning from the fifth century.

The churches sent missionaries to different places, as well as to the
territories around Van Lake in Turkey. In the first half of the 19th
century Armenians started to settle in the North Azerbaijan occupied
by Russia and Irevan khanate, a part of Azerbaijan. Armenian state
had existed neither in Turkey, nor in the territory of Azerbaijan by
1918. On May 29, 1918 Yerevan was yielded to Armenians, as a result
of it they managed to establish state with support of the English,
Americans and French. After North Azerbaijan was occupied by Soviet
Russia in 1920, measures were taken to extend Armenians' territory and
19.800 sq km territory of Soviet Azerbaijan was yielded to Armenians
as a result of direct pressure exerted by Soviet Russia", he said.

According to historical data, the history of ancient Azerbaijani
land - Yerevan as a city, castle started after the collapse of the
caliphate. The territory belonged to the Sajis of Turkish origin, then
Salaris and Ravvadis, Saljug Empire, Atabeys, Hulakis and in the 15th
century belonged to Garagoyunlus, Aggoyunlus and Sefevids. In the reign
of Sefevids, Yerevan became administrative center of Chukhursheher
beylerbeylik, finally Yerevan khanate, and with the occupation of
North Azerbaijan Yerevan province was established, and Republic of
Armenia was established after Yerevan was yielded on May 29, 1918.

Bahramov said these were historical facts and underlined that
Azerbaijan's related bodies should take a stance on marking the 2790th
anniversary of Yerevan on the international level.

Yes indeed, the same science that came up with this:

"Based on the abovementioned the territory of Azerbaijan has been referred to the areas of first human formation."

BIBLICAL MOUNTAIN PRESENTED UNDER NAME OF ARARAT IN TURKISH SCHOOL TEXTBOOKS
Noyan Tapan
April 8, 2008

ANKARA, APRIL 8, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. The Turkish ministry of
education in 2007 prepared and published geography textbooks intended
for senior school pupils, in which the biblical mountain is presented
not as Agri Dagi but as Ararat (the official name of Mount Ararat in
Turkey is Agri Dagi).

According to Cihan news agency, the trade union of Turkish employees
of education and science expressed its concern over the "inexusable
mistake" of the ministry of education: "This error in geography
textbooks approved by the ministry in 2007 is inexusable because the
name "Ararat" has become a symbol of the so-called Armenian Genocide
today," the chairman of the trade union Ismail Koncuk stated, adding
that such activities of the Turkish ministry of education "contribute
to Armenian propaganda".

Dear Domino, you take things a bit too seriously. You may be "delusioned" that you can talk sense to them. You should pipe down a bit and learn to speak to them in a language that they understand i.e. DERISION. Let then prove that Noah was furkish, and that he descended on Agri/kakri. goof.gif
BTW. Agri is none other than the ARMENIAN Agori/Aghori.

Nestle in Azerbaijan CD blunder
By Elettra Neysmith
West Asia editor, BBC News

The Swiss-based multinational food company, Nestle, has apologised to Azerbaijan after a free gift attached to a breakfast cereal backfired.

The CD-ROM featured information about countries around the world but the data on Azerbaijan caused outrage there.

It said that Azerbaijan had started a war against neighbouring Armenia and that the hotly disputed territory of Nagorno-Artsax belonged to Armenia.

Nestle has withdrawn the cereal and promised to seize the offending CDs.

Tense and volatile

Conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the early 1990s over Nagorno-Artsax killed an estimated 30,000 people.

Hundreds of thousands of refugees were created on both sides.

And despite a peace deal in 1994, the situation remains tense and volatile.

Nestle inadvertently stumbled into a minefield.

The Azeri government vowed to take action, and there has been widespread talk of a public boycott.

Nestle has now issued a formal apology but some Azeris are still not happy.

They accuse Nestle of playing Armenia's hand, and are demanding more than just an apology to chew on.

He has also confessed that furks first enetered Armenian through the "gates of Ani". See story on page 1 and 3.

Mr. Gül them moved closer to

Such slander from the gavur-ermeni-reporter-dötkyom website...

Everyone knows that every monument EVER constructed in Anatolia (and beyond) was the work of the proto-hominid Turkic-Turanian super ancestors, the founders of Ur & Urartu.

Nobody entered through Ani, sillies! They simply went around for a walk...Mr. AtaRepbublik of Chumhuri would NEVER utter such an absurdity!!!

  • The Refugees and International Law civil society network has sent the recurrent portion of applications to NKR President Bako Sahakian.

“Armenians of Azerbaijan are hopeful that NKR authorities will restore the violated rights of over 500 thousand people who underwent displacement, will pursue adequate compensation for the moral damage inflicted on them by the Republic of Azerbaijan, to bring into being their claim to regain their Homeland and the country of their citizenship,” says the letter addressed to NKR President Bako Sahakian.

“Hereby Armenians of Azerbaijan reassert their confidence in the legitimate government of NKR and authorize it to act on their behalf. The Refugees and International Law civil society network already has tens of thousands of applications addressed to you, and their number increases.”
