Are you aware that I spell Armenia as "Aiasdan? smile.gif
I thought that you already knew!

Hmm... I didn't know. Are you aware that you are spelling it wrong? smile.gif I suspect you might pronounce it without an "H" as French people do, but spell you must with and "H" smile.gif

We have molded Christianity in our own image. Every nation does it. What I don't get is the irritation some people have towards Christianity. Let's face it without Christianity, Armenian identity wouldn't have been preserved.

I hate the ideas of God and religion so, based on that, figuring out my answer to the title question should be quite simple.

I think the avatar explains it. A cross turned over isn't a positive sign.

It is not a negative one either. It is just an opinion like any other.

Sasun,
I did not say that my decision was objective and based on accurate data! I simply stated what comes first and why! smile.gif
The poll is about our subjective perception and choice; it's not about the legitimacy and correctness of our assessment/data! So what counts is the outcome of my choice!
I'm very comfortable with my "erroneous" assessment! It works for me! smile.gif

Kakachik,
I really like the colors of your avatar. Who's the painter? Thanks!

Kakachik,
Thanks! I did not know his work. I did take a quick look at both paintings, buildings and ideas: I liked what I have seen. I'll try to learn more this weekend!
It's a discovery that may grow with me! Thanks!

The question being asked is very difficult. God is the creator of all life. Armenia is the creator of all Armenians. God has his place in the hearts of every Armenian and every good Christian. Armenia has her place in the hearts of every Armenian. These 2 are truly unrelated concepts, neither one can be given priority over the other.

God does not have a place in the heart of every Armenian.

You can actually buy a flat in one of his buildings. Except that they are not very conventional to live in and I won't even mention the price.

I refuse to vote since I don't know which god (lower case G) we are talking about.
Is it god as in Allah, Jehovah, Astuats or the host of hundreds of other minor and major gods?

Check this out:

Godchecker is 100% non-denominational. All Gods are welcome, whether Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Slavonic, or of No Fixed Abode. Polytheism is much more fun than monotonous monotheism. The Gods are queuing up to get in! And Terry Pratchett fans, Tolkien afficiandos, Douglas Adams devotees and Harry Potter nuts will love our selection of Goddities!

The Godchecker database aims to cover all Gods of mythology, literature and legend. Pagan culture is covered with Celtic deities and more Earth Mother Goddesses than you can shake a willow stick at. And if you're seeking knowledge, wealth or immortality, you may pick up some tips. Our current research has led to some very promising ideas involving snails, beetroot and cunningly-shaped sticks...
