TEHRAN (FNA)- Turkey continues to create crisis in West Asia in an attempt to offset the socio-economic and political affairs to its own advantage.

A clear proof could be its recent occupation of Iraq under the pretext of fighting ISIL - which happens to have special business relationship with Ankara. Interestingly, this is also the very same terrorist group that US President Barack Obama has used as an excuse to sneak his troops back into Iraq.

Little wonder major rallies were held across Iraq, with tens of thousands of demonstrators angrily condemning the Turkish deployment of troops into Nineveh Province. Ankara claims it sent its troops there to train Kurdish Peshmerga forces. This is far from the truth. Iraqi PM Hayder Abadi says the deployment was unapproved and demanded Turkey withdraw. The Kurdistan Regional Government also denies making any side deals with Turkey on troops entering the territory.

And Turkey did retreat, at least partially, but of course under much pressure from the international community.

This means, just like in Washington, the political class in Ankara is lying. They support extremist outfits and deliberately add fuel to the disputes between Shias and Sunnis. Almost without any exception they also claim Tehran and Baghdad are stoking sectarianism in the region.
