USE OF ARMENIAN "APRICOTABS" ALLOWED IN THE US

YEREVAN, MAY 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The Sports Committee of the Russian
Federation submitted a bid for purchase of a large batch of Armenian
natural food supplement "Apricotabs" made of apricots. Khachik
Gevorgian, director general of the supplement-producing Hagenas
company, told NT correspondent that "Apricotabs" is envisaged for
members of Russian national sport teams.

According to him, during tests on sportsmen by the Russian office of
Med and Life company (US) "Apricotabs" helped remove fatigue so
efficiently that it was decided to check if there are any dopes in
this supplement. However, the Russian anti-dope center did not find
any banned substances in the supplement. Kh. Gevorgian said that
"Apricotabs" is made of apricots only, and every tab is equivalent to
eight fresh apricots.

The director of Hagenas company noted that tests on "Apricotabs" were
completed in Georgia and the national olympic committee of this
country is going to buy the supplement for Georgian sportsmen. The US
Federal Drug Administration has already allowed to sell "Apricotabs"
in the US.

My fervent hope is that this is not another case of "Armenicum" or "Jermuk".

Armenian getting into the mostly charlatan business of food supplements...well, I am sure that the team at the Winter Olymoics was not given this apricot thing.
Moreover Armenicum, Jermuk and apricots mix very well.It is well known (as Armenian journalists like to write even if there is no basis in this sort of statement whatsoever) that Armenicum was 1/4 apricot juice and 3/4 Jermuk. So, there you go.

If only life were not such a simple fairytale, we would not be in this post-Genocide predicamet today.
Nogt to forget that cure-all pnacea "loshtak".
If the FDA does not bn such "panaceas" is because they cannot find traces of arsenic or lead in the product. But as to nutritional vlue? What is wrong with some calories, vitamins and protein?

Armenicum against tuberculosis

February 3, 2011

Haik Avetisyan, who is a registered patient in the Abovyan city tuberculosis dispensary of the RA Ministry of Healthcare asked us to examine the results of an experiment done in 2005, which in fact had to be done by totally different institutions. According to him, after testing the Armenicum medicine 29 people with tuberculosis sickness have died. “In 2005, when the Armenicum had been just discovered, they had to do some experiments. At that time I was getting treatment at the tuberculosis dispensary. They tested the Armenicum on 30 people, 29 out of which died, and one of them stayed alive because managed to escape,” assures V.Avetisyan and adds that it was done by taking signatures from the patients. He says doctors have suggested him too but he refused. “I was there at that time. The patients subject to the experiment were guarded by people with guns and one could not see what was happening inside. It was not injection, it was a long procedure. Those 29 guys died,” he said. We called the deputy minister of healthcare Hayk Darbinyan and asked why the medicine invented against AIDS was used on patients with tuberculosis and why 29 patients had died because of the experiments. H. Darbinyan approved the information that the Armenicum had been tested on patients with tuberculosis. He also said that the experiments were done not in 2005 but in 2004. “There are reports and protocols. It was tested on 13 patients and none of them has died. As the tuberculosis is a sickness that grows with stabile steps, and the Armenicum is a medicine that stimulates the immune system, thus the scientists and doctors decided to test the medicine on those patients as well,” said the deputy minister and added that as the medicine stimulates the immune system, and the patients with tuberculosis have weak immune system, this medicine could use on them without any problem. However he said that these experiments did not show any positive change in the patients. H. Darbinyan says that the rumors about 29 dead people are not true because the medicine was tested on 13 patients and they are still alive. Concerning the signatures the deputy minister said that it was not true because usually doctors take signatures from patients only in case when these experiments are dangerous for their lives. However the patient that gave us this information promises to give us facts and proofs. We told Mr. Darbinyan that we have been told about this by a patient that used to get treatment at the tuberculosis dispensary, who was at the hospital during the experiments and assures that the patients died after the experiments. Even more, that guy says he was suggested to use the Armenicum for experiment purposes but he refused. H. Darbinyan recommended us to gather the information concerning those patients and send to him for the purpose of getting acquainted with the medical histories of those patients.
