THERE WILL COME THE DAY OF COMPENSATION
Dear People,
All of us witness that, with the skilled manoeuvres of Robert Kocharian and Serge Sarkssian, the act of 27 October, 1999 is being converted into mockery. The investigation is being buffered & violated and the suspects are being freed one after the other. The authorities are doing everything to jeopardise the course of investigation and to cover in safety the real organisers of terrorism. It is obvious that, in the presence of today’s authorities, the Act of October 27 will never be unveiled in its reality, and we might become the accomplice of this mean conspiracy. The blood of Vazgen, Demirjian and the other martyrs are, thus being shamefully treasoned by all and every one of us. The whole people is castrated, part of whom by fear and the other part has satisfied by the remains of the authorities’ table.
All of them came out to be outlaid to the authorities, so cheaply and like women. Almost all of the political parties are outlaid and prostituted, and especially those, who are represented in the parliament.
The intimate friends of the martyrs are outlaid, like Armen Khachatrian, Antranik Markarian, Tigran Torossian and Antranik Manoukian, who are outlaid for high or low posts, which they not even dreamt of.
The eagle-like “yerkrapah” -s wer outlaid, including their heroic and proud Manvels, Seyrans and Bazeyans.
The military prosecutor Djehangirian was outlaid, to keep his dirty post.
Our “talented” intellectuals were outlaid, in order to receive medals and houses.
The relatives of the martyrs were outlaid in order to enjoy one his “Ararat Cement Factory”, the other his “Mars” enterprise and many others to enjoy their comfortable lives.
As Vazgen would say, “What are you doing, boys…”
We are pretending nation-wide, that we do not know what has been done, who has organised, who has executed the most terrible and the most ignominious murder in the Armenian history. The authorities through its papers, television stations and outlaid reporters, want to cast on the people, whom they consider as animals, the impression that nothing extraordinary has happened, except that a few sick and romantic Robin Hoods, who have managed to obtain some automatic rifles, have come and punished those, who have been ******* the blood of the people.
And thus, do we have to accept this all-national lie? So that foreigners would not think bad of us? And so that the esteem of Armenia would not fall? And in reality, do we have to tolerate this disgrace as people without dignity? Does it come out, that the nomadic animal was right saying that there is no real man in this country?
We were waiting for the results of the investigation. It is already obvious that those results and the truth will be buried. Let everyone act as his conscience tells him. However we, the real friends of Vazgen, will not tolerate and will punish one by one, all those who have been connected to this murder.
All this time, we have not sat idle and with the help of serious lawyers and for the last few months, have studied seriously the aspects of October 27 act. We have collected facts from our friends, who have studied this matter and came to the conclusion that the terrorist act had three categories of participants: a) commanders, b) mediators (who are the link between the commanders and the executors, and c) executors.
The executors are obvious (Nayiri Hounanian, Karen Hounanian, Edik Grigorian, Derenik Bejanian, Vram Galstian) and their guilt does not need any proof, because it has been exhibited in front of hundreds of Parliament deputies and through television stations.
The mediators are also obvious (Alexan Haroutyounian, Haroutyoun Haroutyounian, Moushegh Movsissian, Nayiri Badalian), whose guilt has been proven by the investigations, since until that time, the ugly and obvious intervention of Robert Kocharian and Serge Sarkssian had not yet overturned the course of investigation.
Concerning the commanders, who are the most important for the present issue, and although everybody knows who they are, no one dares to pronounce their names. For the present, only some foreign papers have already unveiled their names in some articles. Our journalists and political figures have only alluded under fear, knowing that with what kind of monsters they are dealing with and what fate they can find.
If there are still doubts in the minds of the people in this respect, the following series of facts will surely make these doubts vanish.
1. The Ministry of National Security, headed by Serge Sarkssian, has carried out a long-term task to recruit Nayiri Hounanian.
2. In April, 1999, a sector of the Ministry of National Security has received a signal, concerning a terrorist act being prepared by Nayiri Hounanian. This signal has been reported to Serge Sarkssian, who has not given course to the act, on purpose.
3. One week before the massacre, Nayiri Hounanian was seen in the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Armenia.
4. A few minutes after the event, Nayiri Hounanian has called his party leader Hrant Markarian and asked from him directions for the following operations. It is worth mentioning that Hrant Markarian has been condemned for terrorism linked with the “DRO” terrorist organisation, while in 1985, has been condemned for murder in Iran.
5. On 27-28th night of October, R. Kocharian has tried to eliminate the terrorist group with the help of the “Alfa” elite group especially brought from Moscow, but the prompt and decisive intervention of the army has failed the attempt.
6. Nayiri Hounanian has had a one-hour talk with Robert Kocharian, the recording or script of which is being kept secretly from the public and especially from the investigations, which arouses in its turn serious suspicions.
7. On October the 28th, Alexan Haroutyounian, drunken and depressed, has been seen at the Ministry of Defence, addressing extremely vulgar swears to Robert Kocharian and Serge Sarkssian, calling them murderers, thieves and bribers (there exists a recorded video tape of this episode).

8. After the burial ceremony by a few days, Robert Kocharian has visited Demirjian’s family and tried to persuade, that Hounanian’s group has killed only Vazgen Sarkssian, while Karen Demirjian has been killed by unknown people, guided by V. Siradeghian. The family’s suspicions have been vanished by the complete video recording, where the Hounanian brothers are clearly viewed cold-bloodedly executing Demirjian and Youri Bakhshian at a range of 5-6 meters.
9. During the course of investigation, the television stations and the press under the supervision of Robert Kocharian and Serge Sarkssian were perverting and discrediting all operations, obviously trying to divert its task. This is what the Military Prosecutor was often complaining of.
10. The apex of the operation to abort the investigations, took place in April 2000, when R. Kocharian prevented the Military Prosecutor to participate in the parliamentary hearings, concerning October 27 massacre. Without having a serious reason, the President could hardly take such an ugly step. By doing this, Kocharian unveiled himself, reluctantly denouncing his accomplice.
11. In April, 2000, Serge Sarkssian had an illegitimate meeting with Alexan Haroutyounian in a retreat of the National Security Agency and secured some provisions. At a later stage, when the track of investigations deviated, these terms became obvious.
12. Samvel Babayan, in one of his latest confessions said that, Serge Sarkssian had been aware of the preliminary tasks of the October 27 act. After that, Babayan had been subjected to torture and was brutally beaten, but he had not changed anything from his confessions. It is understood that, for such a declaration, his life is under danger and he would hardly reach the court. These heavy proofs give us the proper base to declare that the commanders in the murder of Vazgen Sarkssian, Karen Demirjian and the others are Robert Kotcharian, Serge Sarkssian and Hrant Markarian. Adding to these proofs the real reasons and motivation of the mass crime, the picture would be completed.
13. It is known to everyone that in the presence of Vazgen Sarkssian and Karen Demirjian, Robert Kotcharian was in the status of the English Queen. Vazgen was in control of the Executive authority and Demirjian was fully directing the Parliament. With sick selfishness and dictator’s tendencies, Kotcharian would no longer tolerate such a condition.
14. Vazgen had deprived Serge Sarkssian from the most powerful levers, having taken from him the Ministry of Interior Affairs and limiting his direct control over the economic and financial circles (Mika Armenia, Civil Aviation, Customs services, tobacco importation, etc.)
15. Vazgen Sarkssian and Karen Demirjian were against the project of land swap of Meghri, in return of Latchin, and in sign of protest against the discussion of this issue during the meeting of the Security Council, held on October 20, had quit the session, slamming the door behind them.
16. In his last days, Vazgen Sarkssian has said to his close friends, that after New Year, Kocharian will be obliged to present his resignation and Karen Demirjian would be President.
17. The last point explains why Karen Demirjian was executed according to the “Lynch court”, along with the “people’s blood ****er” Vazgen Sarkssian. It is obvious that, had he was left alive, he would have been declared President by the people the very next day.

In the brief of the above mentioned proofs, our friendly court declares with the sense of responsibility, that the commanders and executors of the satanic crime of October 27 are: ROBERT KOTCHARIAN, SERGE SARKSSIAN, HRANT MARKARIAN, NAYIRI HOUNANIAN, KAREN HOUNANIAN, EDIK GRIGORIAN, DERENIK BEJANIAN, VRAM GALSTIAN, ALEXAN HAROUTYOUNIAN, HAROUTYOUN HAROUTYOUNYAN, MOUSHEGH MOVSISSIAN and NAYIRI BADALIAN. Consequently, at the time and the place, these prostitute people will receive their due punishment. We shall not allow that such uneducated adventurists violate our nation and be left unpunished. The SPARAPET would not have allowed. Our decision is not terrorism. Our decision is against terrorism and treachery. If we allow this, others will be encouraged.
We have enough data to suspect that more or less the following people have their participation in the massacre: Vazgen Manoukian, Vahan Hovhannissian, Samvel Babayan, Haik Baboukhanian, Tigran Naghdalian, Artashes Geghamian and Hrant Khachatrian.
We consider:
firstly: Their personal intimacy and frequent ties with Nayiri Hounanian.
secondly: Their animal-like hatred and personal enmity that they have expressed often against Vazgen Sarkssian through speeches, articles and conversations, and
thirdly: Their hidden happiness and controversial declarations following the crime.
But in this respect our investigation and verification are still continuing and for that reason, we are not coming to final conclusions.

While I have appreciation for the emotions that some may have towards Vazgen Sarkissyan, and duly recognize his contributions in building the modern Armenian Army, and winning the war, it doesn't have to be forgotten that Vazgen was not a Saint. Without having the facts, my thinking is that I would like to search for the truth in other dimensions. For example, I would conjecture that this unfortunate crime might have been related to the bitterness generated by the "allocation of influences" in the Armenian economic sector.

I think the interference of the Army, or its representatives in the economic sector of a country are always pregnant with such outcomes.

Ironically enough, in the current Armenian society the boundaries between the solders, monks, merchants and intellectuals have been blurred to a degree, that for years to come, nothing of the kind has to surprise you.
