There is nothing morally right about talking about marriage after a short time of knowing someone... This is perhaps why there are so many divorced young people in the Armenian community. As for me when a guy starts talking about marriage shortly after meeting... that's usually a sign of wanting to get into marriage for the wrong reasons... and it's an indication for me to run the other way ohmy.gif

There is nothing morally right nor wrong with talking about marriage. What do morals have anything to do with it? huh.gif

Hyegirl are you cute?

And let's say I told you of such a place what will you do? About the marriege thing that's b.s., sounds like a rare thing that happened.

Last question. What is wrong with those places mentioned above? I was planning on going to that Russian tea house. Is it a bunch of rabiz guys in leather jackets or what? Some girls like those type of guys too, and they are not less Armenian than any of us here.

clap.gif Amen to that. Once we start attaching morality to thoughts and conversations, I think we have taken the first step towards a VERY wrong direction. Morality has more to do with actions rather than thoughts. On the same token, I also don't think censorship for the sake of "morality" is wise.

Starbucks (gorteri mot in Glendale)
Paradise Bakery Cafe (the tables outside)
anytime an Armenian guy asks for your number while you're driving parallel to each other.

I do not know where exactly in New York you are, but there are plenty of Armenian youth there and they have a lot of social events that you might consider joining. AGBU young professionals are very active. They have something going on every month. Also there are at least 6 active churches that I'm aware of in and around New York. The one in Bayside is quite large as well as the one in Worchester. Unlike California, the Armenian community in New York is quite disfranchised "thanks" to the large number of Bolsetsis.
